Mission
Business people in the Cedar Taylor business district created the Cedar Taylor Development Association with a mission "to promote Cedar Taylor as a viable neighborhood for businesses to succeed." The City of Cleveland Heights in 2013 approved $5250 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to plan for an even more successful, unique place. The attached slides were a report by planner Michelle Bandy-Zalatoris (PDF) who presented her findings at a Cedar Taylor meeting at Melt on Monday, June 23.
Funding
On June 16, 2014 the Cleveland Heights City Council approved $11,000 in CDBG funds for physical improvements. Half of the City's $11,000 grant is contingent on the Cedar Taylor Development Association raising $5500 of their own funds.
