Fire & EMS Division

The Cleveland Heights Fire/EMS Division, a component of the Department of Public Safety, provides fire protection and paramedic service for the residents of Cleveland Heights. It is known for its superior response times and excellent, on-going training. Cleveland Heights has an 75-member Fire Division covering 8.2 square miles.The Fire Division responds to more than 7,000 runs each year.

911 Enhanced System

Cleveland Heights uses the emergency 911 enhanced system for emergency notification. Fire Division ambulances are staffed by paramedics who transport victims to the closest and most appropriate of several nearby hospitals.
