The statistics on this website reflect official crime totals as reported to the FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program. These totals may change for differing reasons, including late reporting, reclassification of offenses and the finding that some offenses were unfounded.
The crime data reported for a specific period of time is based on the information in the OIBRS database at the time the report is created. Results for the same report may change over time based on any updated/new information reported to our department in future OIBRS crime data submissions.
Law enforcement agencies can clear, or “close,” offenses in one of two ways, either by arrest or by exceptional means. To clear an offense within the UCR Program’s guidelines, the agency must adhere to specific criteria.
