Purpose of the Board of Zoning Appeals
The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) consists of five (5) members and one (1) alternate appointed by Council for four-year terms. The board hears requests for zoning variances from regulations pertaining to signs, yard regulations, lot width requirements, off-street parking requirements, fences, etc. The board hears appeals concerning Housing, Zoning and Business Maintenance Codes.

Meeting Schedule
The Board of Zoning Appeals generally meets at 7:00 PM on the third Wednesday of each month in Council Chambers located in Cleveland Heights City Hall.
